Project description

Power China successfully installed the first wind turbine of the Suez Wind Energy 1.1 GW Wind Power Project in Egypt on December 30, 2025. This milestone marks a major step in Egypt’s transition to clean, renewable energy and supports the growth of the wind power sector across the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. As part of this landmark project, NCC X-Caliber’s X-Mix HPX Plus and X-Mix MS -920D (Silica powder) were successfully used in the casting of the reinforced concrete foundations for the wind turbines. The use of NCC X-Calibur products contributed to achieving the required strength, durability, and performance of these critical wind turbine foundation structures.
